Abstract:

Nanotechnology is the promising technology of the future. The word nano means dwarf as nanotechnology studies very minute structures related to atomic and molecular structures. Nanomaterials will change how we were looking to structures around us due to change in arrangement of unit structures at the nano level which will lead to change in properties physical, optical, chemical, and mechanical and therefore appearance of new applications. Nanomanufacturing depends on two approaches: bottom up approach and Top down approach leading to new devices and applications in all fields of lives as pharmacy, medicine, engineering, information technology, agriculture, energy production and etc. Special interest must be given to Chemistry and Quantum physics due to their role in understanding the behavior of nanomaterials. Nanotechnology applications will reach all life sides and requires special interest from stake holders in Egypt as nanotechnology is a unique too of change Nanotechnology is a scientific, cultural and power revolution of this age.
