This paper discusses several cultural values and norms that have impact on the development and use of management accounting practices in the Middle East. First, the paper discusses the main effect of unique societal cultural values of the Middle east, second; by providing some knowledge on the unique culture of the Middle East and explore its link to multinationals MAPs and to know how they may have contributed to a higher of lower levels of success of management accountants of multinational companies investing in Middle East. Furthermore, it is important to determine if the management accounting practice differences, because of the culture, are irreconcilable by discussing how these cultural values and norms difference will impact the management accounting practices in the Middle East. Then, certain guidelines are recommended for multinational companies operating in the Middle East to help them implementing successful management control systems within adjusted management styles to fit the Middle East environment.
