:Abstract

Large investments have already been made in Europe and the US to discover a new fuel which can be used instead of gasoline for the engines of cars. So they discover that the liquid hydrogen will be the future fuel

The research provides a new method to reduce the gasoline and it exhaust emission to (80%) using hydrogen gas with simple materials and low cost in G.I.C engines. First step to reach the project goals we designed a new mechanism that uses the production of hydrogen gas

1. If we increased the surface area of the stainless steel slice, the production of hydrogen gas will increase, so we began to increase the surface area of the electrode by coating the electrode with a layer made of Cobalt and Nickel
2. If we reduce the distance between the electrodes, we can obtain lower electrical resistance.
3. If we placed the electrodes at a certain distance from each other, it will decrease the ohmic resistance between the electrodes.

Second step: injecting the hydrogen gas to the engine with the air to burn inside the Combustion chamber with gasoline to produce the same energy or more than it with less consumption of fossil fuel to achieve the main goal of the project to reduce the gasoline and the exhaust to (80%)

It’s obvious that the performance of the engine had been changed after the H2 had inducted with some issue at the low speed such as turbulence and unstable combustion and that was due to the limited air at the engine but after we removed the carburetor modification the conditions changed to a stable combustion and also noticed that the angler speed had increased 2500 round more that the efficiency of the engine had been increased by 26% more than the initial operating condition of the engine, also there is the heat issues which increased than the neutral conditions but it was an increase at the safe zone, not an overheating case, and the power has changed from  = 11.8 HP Mathematically

After using our new technology to increase the surface area of the stainless steel by coating the electrode with a layer made of Cobalt and Nickel and by putting the electrodes of stainless steel on equal distance and close to each other; the production of hydrogen gas increases

the following facts are derived based on the present experiments of using hydrogen gas in the combustion process of an SI gasoline engine: when hydrogen gas was introduced into a combustion process of gasoline; the power efficiency increases, CO emission decreases, the exhaust became water vapor and the sound of engine decreases
