I had the honor of speaking to 125 students at Ngee Ann<\/p>\n

Polytechnic in Singapore on Friday evening. This event was set up by our Ziglar Legacy Certified trainers<\/a> Amily Ang and Alex Tham.<\/p>\n

What made it special is that it was a Friday night and the attendance was voluntary! The Ziglar message resonates everywhere in the world.<\/p>\n

One of the students asked this question: “Is it dangerous to have too much hope?”<\/p>\n

By the way, I love Q & A sessions because you never know<\/p>\n

what kind of questions you are going to get!<\/p>\n

Here was my answer.<\/p>\n

First, it is far more dangerous to have too little hope. Hopeless people don’t even try; they will not take action.<\/p>\n

Second, hope needs to be built on the solid foundation of planning, preparing, and doing.<\/p>\n

When we plan and prepare, we can expect good things to happen. This hope is on solid ground. We focus on what we can do and expect the best.<\/p>\n

Dad always said, “Never give a promise without a plan,” because this creates false hope.<\/p>\n
