This Christmas season I am very grateful for my family.<\/p>\n

Which reminds me — we don’t have to wait until Christmas, or a birthday,<\/p>\n

or any other special occasion for that matter, to let our families know how much they mean to us.<\/p>\n

Some lessons I learned from Dad:<\/p>\n

Dad always hugged Mom first when he came home.<\/p>\n

Dad called me, my sisters, and Mom going to and coming home from the airport each time he traveled.<\/p>\n

Dad held Mom’s hand and opened doors for her every chance he got.<\/p>\n

He wrote us all notes, especially on books or articles he thought we might like to read.<\/p>\n

He would admire Mom from a distance and make comments to me and my sisters about his love for her.<\/p>\n

The list goes on and on.<\/p>\n

Take a minute today and call a family member and tell them how much they mean to you. You will never regret letting those you love know how much you love them.<\/p>\n
