?Are You Growing

“Failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.”

Henry Ford

Question: Is what you’re doing going to produce the things you want out of life? If the answer is no, does it make sense to make some changes? Question: What do you want out of life? My research indicates that all of us want essentially the same things, even though we will take different roads to get them. Everyone wants to be happy, healthy, at least reasonably prosperous, secure and to have friends, peace of mind, good family relationships and the hope that the future will be even better.

Question: Will what you’re doing and what you know now enable you to get those things? Or to put the question another way, will your past take you to where you don’t want to go, or take you to where you do want to go? Remember, there’s nothing you can do about your past, but there is much you can do about your future.

Here are three things you can do immediately that will make you happier today and prepare you for a better tomorrow. Number one, learn one new word each day. Number two, read something of an informative, inspirational nature every day. Twenty minutes each day for the average reader will enable you to read twenty 200-page books by the end of a year. That’s eighteen more than the average American reads. Think of the competitive advantage that will give you! Number three, remember that you can learn everything in your car from Chinese art to foreign languages. You can learn financial management, sales techniques, leadership skills, goal-setting, etc. Chances are excellent that the inspiration, combined with knowledge, will enable you to get more of the things we’ve described above. You’ve got a lot to gain by giving it a try, and if you do I’ll SEE YOU AT THE TOP
